My Story

Born in Washington, D.C., based in Høyanger, Daniel studied traditional figurative art at Boston University, and completed his education at the California Institute for the Arts. Currently, Daniel is creating animation from his studio located along Sognefjord, in the town of Høyanger, Norway. Having studied Experimental Animation from CALARTS, Daniel has always experimented with various forms of animation including stop-motion, and new forms of computer animation.

The newest animation project from the mind of Daniel, is a 2D animation series for children, which utilizes new and excited techniques of motion capture and lip sync. This technique allows for life like animation that is both precise and combined with composting techniques the visual output is pushing the limits of 2D animation today.

Together with other talented artists from the region of Vestland, Daniel hopes to develop animation in Norway, and inspire children and families with unique storytelling from Western Norway.

Take fun, seriously.
